Grand Rapids Wedding Photographer
High school sweethearts Marco and Autumn had a lovely Grand Rapids Wedding in Fall! I enjoyed getting to know this sweet couple throughout their wedding planning, and we met at Holland Beach for their engagement session. It was such a fun evening, and they rocked their engagement photos, so I just knew their wedding day would be no different.

Their church is St. John Paul II Catholic Church in Grand Rapids, where they were also married. One thing I loved about their ceremony was that the priest stood in the aisle instead of behind them on the stage. This allowed Marco and Autumn to face all of their loved ones while saying their vows and exchanging their wedding rings. The trend has been circulating on social media lately, and it was such a great idea, and it was awesome to see their faces!
Right after their ceremony, their adorable Golden Retriever came to visit and join in some photos! I love meeting my couple’s furbabies. If your wedding venue doesn’t allow pets, but you still want to have a few pictures with your dog, you’ve got a couple of options! My first suggestion is to designate a friend or family member (who isn’t needed for photos) to be in charge of your dog. They can quickly bring them to the desired picture location and then take them back to your home. With my second suggestion, you won’t have to worry about anyone missing any of the wedding events! There are pet-sitting businesses for wedding days. Whether you need them for one hour to assist with photos or you need them for several hours, they are there to make your pup happy!
Wedding Day Dog Care near Grand Rapids:
Marco and Autumn rented a party bus to get from the church to downtown Grand Rapids for their photos, and it was so much fun. On the bus, the wedding party was getting the celebration started! There are so many fascinating spots near downtown for wedding photos, but one of my favorites is The Grand Rapids Art Museum. Strolling around downtown with their wedding party was so enjoyable! When you plan a Grand Rapids, Michigan wedding, there are many hotels and Airbnb’s for your guests to stay at, plus there are several different attractions for out-of-towners to see.
Marco and Autumn’s wedding reception was at St. George Banquet Center, located in the heart of the city. The two enjoyed dancing with their guests and truly living in the moment! Here are some of my favorites from their wedding in Grand Rapids!
