A few weeks ago, I packed my bags and jetted off to Dallas, Texas, for a European-inspired editorial! I was so excited to photograph this wedding at The Olana. It was a gorgeous sunny day, and all of the wedding vendors came together and created incredible content. If you’re newly engaged, you don’t want to miss the trends and inspiration images from The Olana wedding!
Dallas Wedding Venue: The Olana
When you arrive at this luxurious Texas wedding venue, you are stunned by the mansion’s beauty. Although you’re in Texas, it feels like you have been transported to Europe.
Information about The Olana
Necessary Facts Before Booking:

This Texas wedding venue holds up to 275 guests and features lush landscaping, an indoor/outdoor pool, and so much more.
The Olana Wedding Cost:
One of the best things about booking The Olana as your wedding venue is the customizable, all-inclusive packages they offer. As part of your menu selection, you will have the option of choosing three different packages. Following the menu selection, you will determine your beverage package. Lastly, you can customize your event by adding tables, charger plates, DJ services, etc. Besides its exquisiteness, one of the best reasons to choose The Olana as your wedding venue is all the choices they offer.
Pastel Colored Wedding Inspiration:
These photos will give you plenty of inspiration if you plan on getting married in spring. These pastel colors for this shoot were so pretty and perfect for spring!
Custom Wedding Invitations:
Korynne & Company created a stunning wedding invitation with a drawing of The Olana. The envelope liner featured delicate blue florals that gave it an elegant look instead of a plain white envelope.
Wedding Cake in Dallas:
Cakes by Tayte created a five-tier cake with an acrylic block in the middle to add height and decoration. The cake was displayed with floral arrangements in vases on an antique dresser.
Top Rated Wedding Florist in Texas:
All of the florals for this part of the editorial were breathtaking. Flower Shack Blooms created two magnificent, flowering circular arches using a combination of pinks, oranges, and a hint of blue florals. They hit it out of the park with these amazing wedding flowers!

Secret Garden:
During this part of the editorial at The Olana, the room we were in had plenty of natural light coming in through many windows! A crystal chandelier hung above the white fireplace in the large room. Flowers from Behold Floral Design decorated the fireplace, creating the illusion of a secret garden.

Ethereal Wedding Ideas:
Wedding Dress Shop in Texas:
Alissa wore a stunning wedding gown from Weddings By Debbie, a bridal shop in Katy, Texas. This wedding dress was off the shoulder with flowers on the sleeves. On this A-line gown with off-the-shoulder sleeves, lace embellishments cover the bodice, train, and hemline. Ethereal weddings include delicate and light details, making it seem like you are in a fairytale, and Alissa’s wedding dress was just that.
Ethereal Inspired Flowers:
There were whimsical purple and green flowers arranged in tall stands above the table, and similar smaller centerpieces with mini roses adorned the table. Alissa’s bouquet also had the same delicate flowers used in the tablescapes.

Champagne towers are a HUGE trend right now in the wedding industry! During this segment, the seating chart was exhibited on the large champagne tower. An outside staircase with flowers served as the backdrop for our wedding portraits. The Olana has an architectural aura that seriously makes it seem like you are in Europe.

The Tea Room at The Olana:
I ended the day by photographing the beautiful Tea Room and indoor pool at The Olana! Tavern on the Green, New York, is the inspiration behind the Tea Room. The two gold chairs were perfect for the bride and groom to sit in and relax or pose for pictures. Using these chairs brought a different look to their wedding photos. Wedding pictures are typically taken with the couple standing, so having them sit for a few images was a nice change. The pool room is such a pretty room with entertainment value! The idea of taking a dip in the pool with your friends before getting ready on your wedding day sounds relaxing and delightful!
