Wedding Editorial at Bella Collina
On a rainy day, I attended Styled Shoots Across America’s Bella Collina wedding editorial. I was excited to travel down to Orlando, Florida, for this styled shoot.
When I purchased my ticket months before, I hoped for warm weather with a sunny Florida sky, but unfortunately, the weather had other plans. There was a forecast of rain all day long before the photoshoot. Heather, the owner of SSAA, came up with a rain plan and put my mind to ease. It did, in fact, rain most of the day, but every piece of the shoot was still gorgeous! Like when there is rain on a wedding day, us wedding vendors work our magic to create beautiful portraits.
As I arrived at this stunning Bella Collina wedding editorial, I was in awe. This wedding venue in Orlando, Florida, evokes the feeling of being in Italy. Sitting on almost 2,000 acres, every inch of the property is uniquely charming. This Tuscan-inspired location offers cobblestone and brick architecture to inspire the most gorgeous indoor or outdoor weddings. There are several places throughout the venue to comfortably hold up to 250 guests, such as the grand lawn, reflection pool, and an elegant ballroom. Bella Collina is perfect if you’re looking for an Italian-inspired wedding venue without traveling to Italy!

The wedding vendors who helped with this wedding editorial were absolutely amazing! I was amazed at the talent of each vendor, and there was not a single detail overlooked. At the shoot, my first photograph location was at the reflection pool. I was astonished at how Bloom Shakalaka, a talented Florida florist, created a stepping stone path in the pool adorned with romantic florals.
One of my favorite tablescapes of the day was underneath the venue, which allowed us to keep dry from the rain. A white, textured tablecloth gave this tablescape a delicate look. It’s unbelievable how textured or fun-colored linen can change the look of your tables. Adorning the table were three sizeable gold vases with beautiful florals, gold tableware, and white plates with a gold frame. This tablescape is everything you dream of for a reception table!
I ended the day at the clear-covered tent for a modern, romantic wedding shoot. The ceremony site was decorated with cascading florals and a white geometric backdrop. A wedding seating chart for the trendy couple was also on display at this avant-garde location.
