Lansing Michigan Wedding in Spring
I officially kicked off my 2023 wedding season with these two cuties, Justin and Ariel, for their Lansing wedding! On a beautiful sunny spring day, all their friends and family came together to celebrate their love. Working alongside Vows & Veils was such a joy, and they made the day seamless.
Justin and Ariel met while working at the same restaurant. He was the cook while she was a server, and their connection was incredible. They both love spending time outdoors, going hiking and fishing. We took their engagement photos at the perfect park to incorporate their love for nature.

Cherry Barc Farm hosted their outdoor ceremony with an arbor decorated with blooming flowers and lush greenery. They had decided to have an aisle reveal instead of doing a first look before the ceremony, and Justin’s reaction was precious. He cried in awe of her beauty as she walked down the aisle. It was lovely when they took their first communion as a married couple during their ceremony.
It can be one of the most magical moments of a wedding day when I sneak my couple away from the reception for golden hour photos! When the sun starts to set, and the couple can relax now that the traditional festivities are over, they can genuinely have fun with these photos. It’s like Justin and Ariel’s love was basking in the glow of the sunset. Throughout their wedding day, Ariel told me that my calm and relaxed personality helped her feel comfortable when it came time for photos.
At the end of the evening, it was evident that they had shared so many heartfelt moments and sincere joy together and with their guests.
