Wedding at Hidden Creek Farms
Jason and Sierra had a beautiful Hidden Creek Farms wedding in Charlotte, Michigan.
Their story started when they became friends in high school, but a love interest didn’t begin until after graduation!

Hidden Creek Farms was the perfect Michigan wedding venue for them! They loved the overall rustic feel of the venue. I loved how the whole property was beautiful and had many different photo locations. Throughout the entire wedding day, the owners and staff at this venue went above and beyond. They were all so kind and accommodating to all of us wedding vendors!
It was a hot summer day here in Michigan, and it rained for just a few minutes. We were so thankful that it became a gorgeous day after the rain cleared!
Sierra wore a Maggie Sottero Gown that had lace all over, and it fit her like a glove. In addition to the dress, she wore a cathedral-length veil that made her a gorgeous bride!
Jason and Sierra decided they wanted to share a first look before their ceremony to get as many portraits done as possible before they got married. As Sierra tapped Jason on the shoulder and turned around, his eyes filled with tears. It was so sweet to see how emotional he got because of how amazing his bride looked. This was probably one of my favorite moments of the day! After their first look, we roamed around the property and took some portraits of just the two of them, and it was nice to spend time with them.
Since wedding days often fly by and are often rushed with all the photos we need to take and all the traditional events going on, I always encourage my couples to enjoy the time during couples portraits. This is one of the only times throughout the day when there are no eyes on you, and you can soak in this alone time.
One of the many bonuses of being a Kali Shea Photography couple is that I will assist you in making the perfect wedding day timeline. Doing this allows each of my couples to relax and enjoy their day! I create some buffer time throughout the day so we can always stay on track and get things done!
Jason and Sierra were attentive during their wedding day and spent time with their guests. There was a laid-back atmosphere, and everyone was ready to have a good time! These two made my job as their Michigan wedding photographer so easy. I had so much fun capturing their wedding and can’t wait to see where life takes them!
