Engagement Photos at Michigan State Capitol kicked off our adventure. Megan had a vision of a Hollywood glam vibe, and she and Jack bring it to life. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect—a sunny golden hour evening set the stage for some remarkable photos.
Megan and Jack decided to include their adorable dogs in the session, adding an extra layer of cuteness to the entire experience. I brought a fresh-cut flower bouquet from my mom’s garden to complement the glamorous theme. The pops of color against the classic architecture were simply breathtaking. We captured some fun moments as they popped a bottle of bubbly to celebrate their love. Megan looked radiant, dressed in a stunning champagne-colored gown with pearls in her hair. It was all about clean, formal photos that matched their elegant outfits, and every shot exuded Hollywood glamour.
After the glitz and glam, we ventured to our second location for their Clarence E. Lewis Landscape Arboretum Engagement Photos. The sun began to set, casting a magical glow over the gardens. This part of the session took on a soft, romantic look, and Megan and Jack changed into more casual attire to match the dreamy surroundings with a magical result. The interplay of soft light and lush greenery made for some of the most enchanting photos of the day.
Laughter filled the air throughout the session as we explored different poses and settings. Megan and Jack’s genuine connection and love for each other were evident in every frame. It was an absolute pleasure to get to know them better and capture their personalities in these beautiful moments.
