Fall Wedding Day in Lansing Michigan | Ronnie + Sydney

Lansing Wedding in Fall

Michigan Wedding Photographer

On a stunning fall day, I had the joy of capturing Sydney and Ronnie’s Lansing wedding. The crisp air, golden leaves, and vibrant seasonal colors set the stage for their big day. This rustic, country-inspired celebration was filled with emotion, beauty, and connection, reminding me why I love capturing weddings in all unique styles.

Sydney and Ronnie chose to do a first look, which was one of the most sincere moments of the day. When Ronnie saw his bride for the first time, tears filled his eyes, and the joy and love between them were undeniable. That raw, emotional connection is what I live for as a Lansing wedding photographer—it’s those authentic moments that tell the real story of a wedding day.

The sunlight filtering through the trees gave us the most beautiful natural lighting for their portraits. It was soft yet vibrant, perfectly highlighting their bond while creating stunning images. The rustic backdrop of the fields and trees offered plenty of opportunities to capture timeless photos.

After their first look, their children joined us for family photos, creating lasting memories celebrating their bond. The love they shared as a family was evident in every smile and hug, and it was a privilege to document these memories for them. Sydney had a touching first look with her dad before he walked her down the aisle.

Sydney’s Uncle Bryan officiated their outdoor ceremony. The setting among the trees was intimate and serene, with multicolored wildflowers adding a pop of color to the neutral earth tones of the day. The bridesmaids, dressed in taupe gowns in varying styles, looked elegant with the natural backdrop, while the groomsmen brought a relaxed charm in navy and jeans.

As Sydney and Ronnie exchanged vows, surrounded by their closest family and friends, it was clear how much they cherished this moment. Ronnie’s beaming smile as he looked at his bride and their family was a testament to the love and happiness that filled the day.

Floral details tied everything together beautifully to continue the rustic charm of the reception. As everyone celebrated the wedding, multicolored wildflowers and earthy tones created a warm and welcoming environment. Celebrating Sydney and Ronnie’s love story filled the night with laughter, dancing, and joy.

As the sun began to set, we snuck away for more outdoor portraits, taking advantage of the golden hour light. This softer, diffused glow was the perfect way to highlight their connection in a timeless and romantic way. With the fall colors and open fields as a backdrop, these images became some of my favorites from the day.

Sydney and Ronnie’s wedding was a beautiful celebration of love, family, and the natural beauty of fall. While the rustic charm of the day offered a refreshing change, the focus on connection and emotion remained at the heart of every image. I’m so grateful to have been part of their special day and captured these memories for them.
