The Broadway Avenue Grand Rapids
While it was a rainy day for Ryan and Madison’s wedding at The Broadway Avenue, they couldn’t have had a more timeless day. It was so exciting to be at this new Grand Rapids wedding venue to capture their day!
The Broadway Avenue Grand Rapids just recently opened this year and is absolutely stunning. Their love for the historic church on the outside went hand in hand with their love for how beautifully remodeled it was on the inside. This venue is all indoor, letting the ceremony and reception spaces be in one location. The interior provides a simple atmosphere with its all-white walls, vaulted ceilings, and gorgeous chandeliers, making this space modern yet elegant to create your dreamy wedding! This new Grand Rapids venue offers a bridal suite and groom’s room, therefore allowing the wedding party to get ready at the venue location. You can access the venue early and have brunch or lunch options available. This location has seating for up to 250 guests, with in-house catering and bar services available.
There were many sweet moments throughout the day that involved happy tears. Madison gifted her family members a gift and a card, which was so thoughtful of her. Her mom was so emotional and thankful to receive the gift from her daughter. Madison and Ryan did a first touch in the moments leading up to the ceremony. Without seeing each other, they shared letters, and it was probably one of the most memorable parts of their day! It was a tear-filled moment for both of them!
The ceremony space worked perfectly, especially since it was raining outside. Considering the area is already beautiful, it doesn’t require much decoration. They said their vows while standing in front of an altar framed with beautiful greenery. It was fascinating being able to witness the marriage of this lovely couple!
After their ceremony, we took a party bus around downtown Grand Rapids while doing portraits! The atmosphere on the bus was so much fun as the wedding party was ready to celebrate their newly married friends! We went to the Grand Rapids Art Museum for wedding party photos and bride and groom portraits. Using this location abled us to avoid the rain while taking pictures. Madison looked absolutely stunning in her Essence of Australia gown!
Throughout the entire day, there was not a single moment that wasn’t special! Everyone truly enjoyed themselves, and it was great being a part of their wedding day!
