Engagement Photos at Sleeping Bear Dunes
Justin and Caylee’s Sleeping Bear Dunes Engagement Photos are beyond dreamy! I was so excited to travel up north to Traverse City, Michigan, to meet these two for their session.
High school sweethearts Caylee and Justin started their love story in high school, and there are few things more romantic than that! They got engaged at a vineyard in Traverse City, so it was only fitting for them to return for their engagement session.
After talking with Caylee about her vision for their engagement session, I knew it would be magical. She shared that she wanted a beachy vibe with gorgeous sand dunes, and I believe we made her dream come to life!
Sleeping Bear Dunes is a fabulous location in Northern Michigan for a photo session. This area offers a beautiful landscape with a beach, sand dunes, and hiking trails. The dunes stand about 400 feet overlooking the beautiful freshwater of Lake Michigan. If you’re looking for a beach engagement session but don’t want to travel out of state, consider taking your engagement photos at Sleeping Bear Dunes!
Traverse City Engagement Session
Caylee and Justin wore two outfits for their Sleeping Bear Dunes engagement photos. They each wore jeans partnered with a neutral-colored top for their first outfit as Justin wore a tan-colored shirt, and Caylee wore an adorable white shirt with a little puff sleeve. Before we headed towards the beach, they changed into their second outfit. These outfits gave a timeless look. Caylee wore a white dress with a small floral pattern, and Justin wore a white button-up shirt and gray pants. You can never go wrong with wearing neutral colors for your session! As a Traverse City engagement photographer, white is my favorite color for beach portraits!
Justin and Caylee were a friendly couple, and I had so much fun with them during their session. At each session, I aim to capture your love story and how you are as a couple. I think you can tell by just looking at these photos that these two have so much love for each other! I was able to accomplish my job effortlessly because they let themselves be who they truly were during their session. From running through the dunes, laughing together, and getting their feet wet in the water, they were just naturals.
