Fun Michigan State University Wedding Photos | Choua + Nixon

Wedding Photos at MSU | Lansing Michigan Wedding Photographer

It was a hot sunny evening in East Lansing, Michigan, when I met up with Choua and Nixon! I had so much fun with these two for their Michigan State University Wedding Photos.

Two weeks before this session, these two lovebirds eloped! Everyone deserves beautiful wedding photos, no matter how big or small your wedding. Despite having already tied the knot, it’s important they have amazing wedding photos to look back on forever. One of my favorite parts of being a Lansing, Michigan, wedding photographer is photographing beautiful moments like this.

Choua and Nixon’s post-elopement wedding photos were taken at Michigan State University because of the university’s beautiful gardens and backdrops! It was important to them that they dress the same as they had for their elopement so they could simulate their actual wedding day. Because an elopement can be a quick ceremony, this gave them another opportunity to get dressed up again in their special wedding attire.

Choua made her bridal bouquet for their session, which turned out lovely! She included baby’s breath, white roses, daisies, and Craspedia. I loved the pops of yellow in her bouquet that matched perfectly with her yellow shoes and blended well with the wildflowers throughout the campus.

On the campus of Michigan State University lies luscious grounds and the exquisite wedding venue, Horticulture Gardens. This location is one of the most fascinating and romantic Lansing wedding venues! A wedding and reception at Horticulture Gardens is an idyllic setting, and the possibilities are endless for capturing memorable photos.

It was an incredible time wandering around the MSU campus with Choua and Nixon. Although it was a steamy evening, I could’ve spent hours photographing these two! Spending this time capturing gorgeous photos of them after their elopement was a great way to get all the pictures and poses they wanted. We had so much fun together with lots of silly moments. I loved being able to capture their intimate love story!

Here are some of my favorites from their Michigan State University wedding photos!
