Summer Waldenwoods Banquet and Conference Center Wedding
A lovely summer day brought us together for John and Katie’s Wedding at Waldenwoods! These two met while working at a car dealership and are perfect for each other.
Waldenwoods Wedding
You will find the beautiful Waldenwoods Banquet and Conference Center in Howell, Michigan. Over 400 acres of land overlook a lake with an elegant ceremony and reception options. On-site catering and bar services make it convenient to have all your food and beverages from the venue.
Ceremonies at Waldenwoods are held lakeside under a pergola. The view of the lake makes a beautiful setting for you to exchange your vows and officially become a married couple. There are two options when it comes to your reception, Cromaine Hall and Lakeview. Katie and John held their reception at Cromaine Hall because they loved the look of the historic building!
Waldenwoods Wedding Cost
Their wedding package includes 6 hours of rental time and 4 hours of bar service. You’ll be able to choose a total of 4 hors d’oeuvres, a plated dinner, cake cutting, beverage service, white or ivory linens, complimentary tasting, and one-year social membership to Waldenwoods Resort. The Waldenwoods wedding package has the option of adding additional services, food, or beverages. If you’d like to have your ceremony onsite, there is a fee of $1,000 that includes rehearsal time, set-up, and white padded chairs.
Katie wore a stunning wedding gown from True Society. It had a lace bodice with straps. She wore a cathedral-length veil that had gorgeous lace on the bottom of it and a glamorous pair of Badgley Mischka designer shoes.
Their lakeside ceremony was filled with love and brought out everyone’s emotions. Their precious pup was in the ceremony and wore a floral collar. When Katie walked down the aisle with her father, John made an audible gasp because he was in awe of how stunning she looked. His eyes filled with tears, and I think this was one of the sweetest reactions I’ve seen of a groom seeing his bride for the first time. Water in the background provides a gorgeous backdrop to the ceremony. The way Katie’s cathedral-length veil blew during the ceremony was breathtaking. They had a sand ceremony, where both John, Katie, and their mothers took different colors of sand and poured them into one vase.
Elegant Wedding Reception
The Cromaine Hall was decorated so beautifully and elegantly for their wedding reception. Natural light floods the room through the large windows on each side of the room. White florals, greenery, and champagne-colored accents were used to decorate the space. It was a fun evening celebrating the newlyweds with toasts, cake, and dancing the night away! It was such an honor to be able to capture their big day and all of the memories that came along with it!
